District Associations Learning Event & Potluck

Are you a member of a Green Party District Association? Or would you like to learn more about what you as a member can do to help create a strong Green Party presence in your community? If either of those statements hold true for you, please join us for this learning event!
We'll start with a good ol'-fashioned potluck starting at 12pm before getting into our agenda around 1pm.
We're calling this a "learning event" because we'd like the learning to go multiple ways here:
  • Learning about what existing District Associations have been up to, have found successful or challenging;
  • Learning about the important roles and responsibilities (and privileges) of District Associations, and what District Associations can be and become at their best;
  • The Party learning from District Associations about their needs and challenges.
Topics will include:
  • The role and purpose of District Associations;
  • DA governance and the role(s) of the Coordinating Team members
  • Approaches to community engagement
  • Fundraising and DA finances
  • Party resources available to DAs
  • DAs and MLAs
  • DAs and election preparedness
  • Let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see included!
Please pass this event along to anyone you know who may be interested in being a part of this.
