Provincial Council Elections 2023

The Provincial Council is responsible for governing the Party and overseeing the activities of the district associations, committees, and working groups within our organization. Comprised of nine voting members, the Council includes the President, Secretary-Treasurer, Leader, and six Members-at-Large. As we approach the upcoming Provincial Council Elections, six positions on the Council are set to become vacant.

Adina Nault (Charlottetown) and Darlene Doiron (Stratford) remain as Members-at-Large until
2024 and Peter Bevan-Baker remains on Council as Leader.

Additionally, the Provincial Council includes two ex-officio positions, which are non-voting roles: the Deputy Leader and the Official Agent. Currently, Lynne Lund holds the position of Deputy Leader, and Derek Donohoe serves as the Official Agent.

In line with our commitment to diversity and inclusivity, the Green Party of PEI aims to ensure that the composition of the Provincial Council reflects the province's diverse demographics, including gender, ethnicity, culture, age, region, and language. We have requested each nominee to provide a brief statement introducing themselves to you.
